Sorry to keep everyone waiting!
This has been in the works for a long time now due to translation issues, computer problems and staff time management. But now our translated version is up for everyone’s perusal.
We are in quite dire need of some staff. Many of our members are students and very busy. Even if you can only help with one project we could really use some more cleaners, redrawers and are in desperate, desperate need of another translator.
Read on for a little more detail!
Oh my, it’s more Mahouka!! WOO \o/
It has been a while since our last one~ More after the jump~
Hey Everyone! Guess what? We have a new reader! WOOOO! \o/
Yes yes, I know, it’s very exciting, however since it’s but a wee baby it may need some tender love and care. So, if you find any issues please let us know.
And, also in the news today: Our Recruitment Page has been revamped, and is now oh so pretty. Currently, we’re mostly looking for translators but there are at least a few other positions open.
We especially want to start releasing Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Nine Schools Competition Arc again, but have no translator with the time to release consistently. So if you’re interested in helping us fill out the application… do it, DO IT NOW!!
Also, it’s not on the recruitment page, but if you’re interested in contributing banners or other graphics, or designing us a wordpress theme fill out an application, because that would be awesome!
Greetings all. While I did leave the terminology mostly intact, I took the liberty of translating rather liberally based on my understanding of the “science” behind all the “magic” that I gained after reading the first twelve volumes multiple times at different times (albeit in English). Hence, they will be described differently to Baka-Tsuki’s glossary page which has not been updated in a while (I believe), nor has it been standardised.
The main point of this page is due to my desire to translate the glossary (anew) and in particular, the 10 Master Clans entry. Satou Tsutomu-sensei has already named all the 28 families. Also of note, is that this entry is included in the Light Novels as well. Do note that there is a potential for the readings or characters to change at the author’s whims. Furthermore, I have expressed the names using a mix of the “word-processor” and a more conventional romanisation. I may end up choosing a different one for canon.
We are back and with our first release on our new site! Loving it already. This concludes the end of volume 2 of Yuutousei. Onward to volume 3!
